I know firsthand the life changing value of adoption. Truly there is no higher call than helping adoptive families prepare for and be supported as they forever change the lives of children. ~Faith Franz

  8. How many post-placement visits does your organization require?
I advise clients to be themselves. I am on their side, helping them with home study services so they can move ahead with their adoption goals. As an adoptive mom I know what it is like to go through this same process. Being honest, available and getting organized is helpful for this process. Clients benefit when they have basic technology such as a computer and printer for the paperwork and when they know the timing is best to begin the process. The home study is an exciting time because it is the first step towards realizing your dream of adopting a child.
  9. What is some advice you can give to potential adoptive families about the home study process? What should they be prepared for?
Faith International Adoptions provides clients with a packet of information which includes a list of the topics that will be discussed. We also have phone calls and discussions in advance of the process to help clients feel at ease about the process and what it entails. Our main focus is ensuring that prospective adoptive clients have the ability and resources needed to provide a safe, loving and permanent home for a child/children. Most people who seek adoption exceed the basic adoption requirements.
